Subsea 7 Gets New CEO
Subsea 7 Thursday confirmed that John Evans succeeded Jean Cahuzac as the company’s chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1, 2020.
77彩票注册官网Cahuzac, who retired at the end of 2019, still sits on Subsea 7’s board as a non-executive director, the firm noted in a written statement.

77彩票注册官网Evans moves into the Subsea 7 CEO role after serving as the company’s chief operating officer from 2005 to 2019. The firm noted that he possesses more than three decades of global offshore energy services industry experience.
In addition to reporting Evans’ advancement to the CEO role, Subsea 7 also stated three senior-level individuals with the company have joined the executive management team. The management changes, also effective Jan. 1, include:
- Olivier Blaringhem to executive vice president (EVP) – SURF and Conventional
- Steph McNeill to EVP – Renewables
- Phil Simons to EVP – Projects and Operations.
Cahuzac, a 41-year industry veteran, had served as Subsea 7’s CEO since 2008, a September article in Rigzone announcing his planned retirement states.
